Paris in April, Love in Bloom
Now, many people have said they enjoy travelling. I might have said that in the past, but I didn't know what I was talking about. What I meant was, I like arriving at and spending time in other places. Actually riding on busses and trans-Atlantic flights -- not the highlight of any trip, especially 10 beautiful days in France with your sweetheart.



In Brittany: driving through the countryside, seeing St Malo, France's oldest fortified port town


Mont St Michel: amazing Benedictine monastery which turned into a village on a sandbar island


16th century manor: chambre d'hotes we stayed in; we'll be back for our honey moooon (in case)


Day 1 in Paris: train ride from Rennes to Paris, Sacre Coeur up the hill from our hotel, Montmarte


Day 2: Eiffel Tower, Tuilleries, the Louvre, Monet at the Musee d'Orsay, Arc de Triomphe


Day 3: inside the Louvre, including my lady with the wings


Day 4: Climing Notre Dame, views of the hunchback, the Pompidou


Day 5: Eiffel Tower by night with 3 euro champagne in our Nalgenes, strawberries and chocolates
